About Alla Savinkov
My passion for art ignited in my earliest years, a flame that was unexpectedly fanned when behavior issues led to my expulsion from daycare. This predicament forced my mother to bring me along to her workplace, where I was pacified with a generous supply of art materials. This early exposure laid the groundwork for my lifelong engagement with art, propelling me into art studios to deepen my exploration of artistic expressions from a tender age. Nevertheless, there have been extensive periods in my life where the brush and canvas remained untouched. Arriving in the United States as a single mother, the pressing demands of providing for my child and securing our future consumed all my time, leaving little room for artistic pursuits. My journey through life has seen me embrace various roles—from teaching to hairstyling, even venturing into the medical field. Despite the whirlwind of professional and familial responsibilities, with three amazing children now part of my life, carving out time for art remains a challenge. Yet, I persist in seeking moments to indulge in my passion for oil painting and watercolor, particularly drawn to the serene beauty of seascapes. These artworks are more than mere pastime; they are my escape to the tranquility of distant shores, a mental voyage powered by the ocean's breeze. Through my art, I aspire not just to capture the majestic calm of the sea but to transport my audience, allowing them to feel the ocean's might, revel in the beauty of the mountains, and be soothed by the rhythmic crashing of waves.
